Easy Assembly & Nice Looking!
First off, this thing is HEAVY, 113lbs boxed up (I got the king size for reference)! Make sure you have at least two people to help carry it inside.But the assembly itself was incredibly easy. Minimal screws, 9 I believe in total. The wood slats are velcro and snap right into place, no drilling!Took my boyfriend & I about 45 minutes to put it together. Very study and really nice looking.Well worth the price!

Amazing In Every Way!
This has been the best purchase I have made in every way! Me, myself, and I (only) are the process of setting up a whole house short-term rental (AirBnB mostly) and I have run into so many obstacles on items I have ordered and had delivered.Almost all items have to be assembled…What has happened to using using screws that require a flat-head or phillips head screwdriver?!!!! 95% require an allen wrench which they usually DO include. Well, this manufacturer not only sent the allen wrench, but also included a small ratchet. This is a whole new experience and saved so much stress on my hands, not to mention a huge savings of time!IT TOOK ME ABOUT 55 MINUTES TO ASSEMBLE! Did I mention, I am doing this by myself? It took me almost that long to unbox because it is packaged so well and I was doing it alone.ALL THE PARTS WERE THERE! They even enclosed a small package labeled, “extra parts’! …which I did not need since all the parts were there!NOTHING WAS BROKEN, RIPPED, OR REPAIRED! The upholstery was perfect and no smells.I was really worried purchasing something like this off eBay, but it has been the best experience thus far.

Worth it !!
I was very nervous to buy any type of furniture from Amazon but honestly this bed frame is so amazing, I am 8 months pregnant and I set it up with no problems at all! I have an 8” mattress and I was nervous it’d look off or wouldn’t fit but it’s amazing even without having a box spring, I love everything about this frame !! Don’t be scared it’s definitely worth it !

Excellent bed frame for a couple’s first apartment!
Bed frame is affordable, yet higher in quality. It offers optimal support at night, with no mattress sagging. We’re a fan of having wooden slats combined with a metal cross section. Frame took two of us about a half hour using the provided hex key along with a screw gun for a slightly more snug fit. Packaging was really smart, as it was in the headboard. Headboard itself is well made for what it is.TLDR; Excellent frame choice that is easy to install. We’ve had it for 4 months so far with no complaints, and restful nights.

Wow! Amazing quality for the price and it’s easy to build!
I don’t normally leave reviews but the quality and ease of building this bed is superb. For the price the bed feels sturdy and well build. It’s the little things for me, the little tool that came with the bed facilitated the building process and it was extremely easy to build. Took me about 30 minutes to put together. I will update this after a few month or use.

Easy to put together and looks great!
My boyfriend & I finally moved in together, so we decided it was time to shed our collegiate “move-every-year” furniture for some more permanent stuff. I loved the design of this bed frame, so we decided to take a chance & order a major piece of furniture from Amazon. The box the bed frame comes in is pretty long and heavy- if you don’t live in a house, you’ll likely need a dolly to wheel it to your door. However, this bed frame is extremely easy to assemble thanks to some detailed instructions with well organized and labeled parts (looking at you, IK*A.). It comes with all the tools needed to put it together stored conveniently in the headboard, including one hex ratchet that was so great we added it to our tool collection. You will have it done in under two hours. It is very stylish & looks even better in person than it does in pictures. There is just enough underbed space for your cat to hide out there- so safe to say my cat loves it too! I would definitely order from Zinus again. We sleep great on our new King!

Not difficult to assemble and sturdy
Straight forward assembly. Took me about 1.5 hours. The bed is heavy and may require 2 people. Give yourself enough room to spread out all the parts . Take your time and follow the instructions. There is a you tube video you can use to assist. Excellent product and very sturdy. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Sturdy frame that is easy to assemble
Box arrived a little ragged-looking, prolly due to its weight (80 lbs) but the bed was double-boxed and the inner box was untouched, so no damage. All the parts were there, and the instructions were easy to follow (think IKEA-style … no words, just illustrations).I was prepared to add supports down the middle of the frame for extra support, but this frame already has them. I like the velcro added to the slats and the frame to keep the slats in place in the frame. The fabric on the headboard is nice looking and comfortable to lay against for reading/ TV watching. All these little details make a ho-hum product into a superior one. The designers really thought this one out.I have been sleeping in king-size beds for decades. The worst part of this purchase was downsizing and losing the roll-all-around real estate of a big mattress for a full-size, but bought a new (Purple) mattress to go on top, and I couldn’t bee happier or sleep more comfortably.

Sturdy and comfortable
We’re liking this frame so far, but I’ll come back and edit my review in a few months once we’ve really tested it out.The whole thing was pretty easy to put together, my husband and I were able to do it in less than an hour. All of the screws and pieces were clearly labeled and separated, which was nice. We only had one issue, where one of the holes wasn’t quite lined up, so we had to rip the lining to make our own hole (photo 2). Other than that everything fit together nicely, and the ratchet tool that they give you is very handy.Photo three is the completed frame with an IKEA Haugsvär mattress. There’s still plenty of headboard left to be able to sit back on comfortably. I was worried the fabric would be scratchy, but it’s not at all!

Very well designed and engineered
Instead of getting a bigger bed at IKEA for my son, I decided to get the Zinus Judy bed from Amazon based on the reviews. I’m happy with my purchase since they designed a very well made bed and how they engineered everything to fit within the headboard for packaging/transport is amazing. It’s very well secured in the box and with double cardboard packaging, I assume they have very little concealed damage claims since everything is in that headboard.They really thought though the design and construction by adding little things to this bed. For example, on top of the metal box frame where the wood slats rests upon, they incorporated a very thin rubber membrane which I assume will prevent squeaks when you’re on the bed. The wood slats are actually linked together (preassembled) with velcro so it will be equally spaced out and they won’t be moving around when you’re giving a bed a workout (if u know what I mean – lol).Other additional things that they included but really didn’t have to since it adds to their total cost is including a basic RATCHETING wrench for tightening the screws (and not just a simple Allen wrench), including extra spare screws for your assembly AND screws that should be already assembled on the head/foot boards, they bagged the foam shipping blocks so that you don’t have little styrofoam pieces when you unpackage your bed, and they also include some blank “hello” and “thank you” cards that you can use in the future. I would probably skip these “thank you” cards but including them tells me this company will go the extra mile and use the minimum thickness of metal and wood for its materials so it can last for years to come. One minor thing that they should include in the assembly kit is felt pads for the bed legs. The bottom of the wood legs dont have those typical plastic caps and for hardwood floor users, having felt pads on your furniture is the best way to preserve our floor from scratches.Long story short, this is a great upholstered platform bed for $209 which was on sale when I purchased it.

Looks great! Easy assembly!
I’m very happy with this bed. It was very easy to put together, one of the easiest products I think I’ve ever assembled myself. I did have my son (15) help me put it together, as I was attempting to have him learn how to read instructions, so it took slightly longer than it would have. I think it can be done alone in under 45 min. Bed came in great condition and with all pieces. We carried it piece by piece to his room to assemble it, as it was a heavy in box.It seems very sturdy, although I’m not sleeping in it, so I’ve no idea if it would squeak with a lot of movement, only reason I didn’t give a 5 star to noise section. The mattress seems to stay in place so far. Headboard design pattern is nicer than I thought it would be. I didn’t pay much attention to space under the bed, but I’m sure you can fit small items under it.I would defiantly consider purchasing another zinus bed if ever needed.Also, only thing I noticed while putting bed together is the 2 side bars, I could not over tighten 1 on each side, as 1 would raise higher than the other. But still seems fine. I just put all instructions, tools, and extra screws in zipper part of headbard so they are there if and when needed.We’ve only had this bed about a month, but seems fine as of now.

Life Saving Ratchet INCLUDED!
I got to break this down in bullet points – it’s that amazing!1. Package shows up the size of the headboard. Open it and all you see is the headboard. EVERYTHING you need for the entire bed is packaged neatly inside the back of the headboard! This company knows how to package and doesn’t waste materials. Now that is SMART!2. Hold on to your pants here. They include a tool (yes you get the standard allen wrench) but this is sooooo far beyond the normal allen wrench. It’s a small ratchet that fits every bolt on the bed. It’s the only tool you’ll need for the whole project. It can be switched from tightening to loosening. It allowed me to put the bed together in less than 30 minutes! AND….its small and fits in all the tight spaces where it’s needed most.3. Bed is sturdy! I’m 6′ and about 320 lbs, partner is 5’6″ and about 210. Doesn’t make noises, doesn’t budge. Nice, sturdy frame and can hold up a wrestling match.4. Modern design goes so well with our mid-century modern home. We love this bed!

Easy to assemble, sturdy, stylish, great customer service from Zinus
I’ve owned this bedframe for about a year and a half now. When I bought it, I was a broke grad student and this was an investment for me. It’s one of the best purchases I’ve made in recent years. It’s a really great price for the quality. The bed frame is super sturdy, able to withstand fun adult time (something I can’t say of my past Ikea bedframes) + quiet. I love the geometric design on the headboard and it’s cushioned so it’s super comfortable to sit up against. The wooden slats aren’t too far apart so it works well for my memory foam mattress without a box spring. Since I bought it, I’ve moved three times. Each time, it’s been so easy to assemble and disassemble. During my last move, I misplaced all the screws for it and wasn’t able to track them down. I wanna give a big shout out to Zinus and their customer service because I contacted them requesting replacement screws and I had them within a week! This isn’t part of the warranty (I assume since it’s user error), but they really went out of their way to help me out. :~)

Sturdy, Affordable, and Stylish
I wanted to wait a couple of months before I wrote this review so I can give my honest opinion. I bought this bed after my Ashley furniture did not come as was expected and needed a bed quick and inexpensive. I was a bit skeptical about buying a bed off of Amazon, but this particular one had the best reviews out of all the ones I was looking at.It’s been a little over two months, this bed is perfect! No squeaking what so ever. Super sturdy, and it’s actually pretty cute. The headboard isn’t as tall as most headboards, but I honestly don’t care too much about that. $200 for a Queen size bed shipped in 2 days is a steal in comparison to the Ashley Furniture I bought close to a $1000 and with 4 week shipping.When it was delivered, it came with all the pieces in the headboard which is also very convenient if you need to move. It also came with all the tools you need to assemble it.My only gripe about this bed experience was that I had mentioned, I wanted the bed to be delivered to my door rather than in the mail room as specified in my delivery instructions, but it was delivered at the mail room. I definitely couldn’t carry this bed all by myself to the third floor, so I had to have the leasing office help me get it up here.Besides that, I would 10/10 buy a bed from amazon again and especially this one.

Been using for 2+ years and still love it
Bought in 2019 and still using in 2022. love that everything is able to be put in the back because it unzips, have moved with this frame and it was way easier with that extra storage back there. it’s heavy af so bring a friend with a car or a friend with a dolly to haul it to your place if needed. bed is strong enough to hold 2 overweight adults (400lb combined at the highest) without any weird noises or creaks.only downside is that my mattress slides around like crazy in the frame, but not sure if frame or mattress itself.warning, will attract cats. mine have torn up the paneling on the bottom – luckily this was not meant to be perfect forever so it doesn’t bother me that much, but might bother others.

Sturdy, Sleek, Easy to Assemble – GREAT bed frame!
My wife and I just bought this bed as our first bed together as husband and wife. We were cautious about this relatively expensive and permanent purchase as we are price cautious and skeptical about the quality of certain Amazon products from time to time. After several nights on this bed, I can say definitively that we are extremely pleased with this Zinus bed frame!The assembly was FAR easier and faster than any comparable IKEA product we’ve ever purchased. The bed has a solid sturdiness that doesn’t move or jostle whenever we get in or out of the bed, or when we have our nighttime activities ;-). It has a sleek and simple design that makes our starter bedroom look very elegant (which is a nice plus!), and with two people it can easily be moved and positioned wherever you’d like in your space.It is just over 100lbs in weight which made it challenging to transport the package to our space. If you live a transient life then breaking it down and keeping all the parts together may be a pain, but I’ve seen way way worse and we don’t foresee that being an issue. Overall, a stellar bed, can’t say enough good things about it. Highly recommend!

This is a very nice looking fabric platform bed. No box spring needed. Pairs nicely with the bed-in-a-box Modway Jenna 14” Innerspring and Memory Foam Full Mattress With Individually Encased Coils (under $250). The frame is sturdy with plenty of slats. It is also extremely easy to assemble with 2 people. (Hint: Watch the video on the Amazon page before unpacking.) My only complaint is that the slats are on the same level as the base, which means that the mattress does not sit down into the frame (so that it doesn’t move). Not a deal breaker, but more of a nice-to-have.

Just what I was looking for…
This is my first time buying from Zinus. They did not disappoint! It came partly prepared (some screws where already in there places, you just had to loosen them to connect pieces), the instructions were simple but easy to follow, it came with all the parts and the extra little tools to put it together, and I probably could’ve had it done quicker had I not had my 2 year old running around. My husband was going to build it when he got home, but I surprised him by doing it myself and he was impressed that I was able. The instructions were easy to follow and I had fun building it. After everything was tightened, it felt sturdy. The fact that there is Velcro on the slats so they don’t move is wonderful. And it surprisingly has a good amount of space underneath. I put a few totes under the bed, they are just under the slats, but they don’t raise the slats up and I can’t feel them when I lay on the bed. It is also the perfect support for a memory foam mattress. It is so beautiful and I will definitely by from them again!!

Awesome Platform Bed!
I spent several months researching different headboards and platform bed frames and this one caught my eye and I kept coming back to it. I finally broke down and ordered it! It arrived quickly and the large box was still in good shape when it got here. My mom and I struggled to get the box to the basement (where my bedroom is) as the loaded box weights close to 100 lbs and is awkward. But once I got the box open, everything was as easy as it could be! It actually took me longer to move my mattress and tear down my smart base, than it actually did to assemble this bed (by myself). All of the main bolts are already where they need to be; you only have to loosen them a bit and drop the brackets right in place and tighten down. I wish all furniture was this easy to assemble! I am shocked at how sturdy this bed is! I got in the middle of my mattress and bounced around, to my surprise, there was not a squeak from the frame! Best of all, thanks to the back of the headboard being hallow, I can push the bed all the way up against the wall! I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a good looking and sturdy bed, that is easy to assemble and super affordable!

After life on this bed frame for the last two years two words come to mind. Quiet and sturdy. The whole unit comes neatly packaged. All parts are packed in the headboard.The king is what I ordered. No box spring needed. It sits low so when you sit on the edge of your bed your feet actually touch the floor. After two years no squeaks or creaks. Also the headboard is finished in fabric so it’s soft to the touch. Would definitely buy this bed frame again.

Easy to assemble and very sturdy!
I will admit I had my doubts about ordering a frame online. I worried in particular about the materials and if they would be sturdy. My husband and I assembled this frame yesterday and it was the easiest bed frame I have ever put together. All of the pieces came in the headboard which unzips to give you access to the pieces and provide storage for the extra screws, ratchet, and anything else you want to put in it once you’ve taken out all the frame pieces. It is very heavy with everything stored inside so we used a blanket to set it on to drag it through our hardwood home from our garage to our bedroom. The only covering for the headboard is a small piece of thin plastic once it is out of the box so we would suggest moving it to where you need it while still in the box or using some kind of dolly otherwise the material will gather a bit of dirt (which easily came off when we just rubbed it off with our hands).As far as assembly, the two main pieces of the frame are a nice thick metal with legs that unfold and secure together with screws then interlock in a T pattern. This is the base of the bed which is then secured in place by the headboard, baseboard, and side panels which fit together with ease using screws that are already drilled into each piece that slide down into hooks in the panels. Once you slide the panels in, you can tighten the screws and place the slats down which are folded up nicely with velcro. The slats unfold across the frame and attach to the side panels with the velcro to keep them in place. Overall, it took about an hour to fully assemble a King size frame.As far as quality, the material of the headboard feels similar to patio furniture in feel and thickness. It is definitely sturdy and what little bit of dirt that got on it from moving it inside was easily removed with our hands. There is a bit of cushion to it so if you lean against it, it isn’t uncomfortable. It comes to about upper back/neck height while sitting up in bed if you have just a mattress on top of it. The frame supports our new heavy memory foam mattress with ease and hasn’t groaned or creaked when we’ve gotten up in the night. We’ve only had the frame for one night, but it definitely seems like the quality to last us many years.

I like my new bed frame it is very smartly designed as the headboard houses all your parts literally everything was inside of the headboard in a zippered section so good use of space. Now it is assembled was easy to do and it works but only one little complaint, the upper slats do not fit flush due to the metal frames design it causes the upper 2 or so slats to be bowed. This is not too much of an issue once the mattress is placed over it and two people are on the bed, our hope is over time the slat will form to this bend but time will tell, otherwise we do like it and it is worth considering if looking for a affordable bed frame.

I am so freaking happy with this purchase. First of all, it looks beautiful. Secondly, the price was wonderful (I was lucky enough to get a discounted one because the box was damaged and everything arrived in perfect shape!).Zinus does a beautiful job of packaging the bed. You pull out the headboard first and everything is neatly tucked inside a zipper within its back. One of the biggest reasons I went with this frame over others was its additional feet/support. I’m so happy I chose this one because not only does it have the bar to support the center, but it also has a cross bar to support it perpendicularly, AND it screws into the first center piece. That gives me so much peace of mind when I’ve purchased crummy frames in the past that I have to cross my fingers won’t fall apart!The frame comes with a small ratchet to tighten all the bolts securely, which was a pleasant surprise as well as a time saver. The instructions are a little weird, but it’s honestly packages so intuitively, you really don’t even need them. It comes with some spare parts, and the screws are already in place for the most part, which I loooove. I put my frame together in a little over an hour by myself, and I had limited space (so I wasn’t super efficient since I had to jump up and go back and forth ten times for stuff). I also took a lot of care to tighten ever single screw (hey-o, perfectionist) which probably added some time. A (synergistic) pair could easily put this together in less than 45 minutes.It’s tall enough to insert some low bins underneath, which I’m super happy about, and it’s just so classy. The only thing I’m wary about is some potential sliding of the mattress sometimes, but it’s worth it in my opinion.Will update if anything crazy happens, but so far – I’m ECSTATIC.

Your cat will love this bedframe !!!
Every day my cat spends at least an hour thoroughly & determinedly clawing the underside of this bed frame. It’s kind of violent-sounding (lots of tearing and ripping) and the first time she did it I was startled, but now I am used to it.I am visiting a friend who has the same frame, and his cat is murdering it right now in the exact same way. So I feel pretty confident in saying YOUR CAT WILL LOVE THIS FRAME.We both considered trying to stop our cats but i) they are cats, ii) the damage is just cosmetic and iii) it’s invisible because it’s confined to the frame underside. So, it’s fine :)This bed frame is good in other ways too. It’s sturdy, minimal (basically disappears into the room), and is very very easy to assemble. I put it together by myself in about 15 minutes, and I am a very small woman, not physically strong at all. And FWIW the way it’s packaged is extremely satisfying: all the pieces fit together into a very neat little puzzle 🙂

It’s not just that the bed looks fantastic, immediately catches the eye with its cool offset geometry pattern, and feels nice and cozy. I’ve done my research while looking for a bed and was surprised to find the right one on Amazon, rather than in dedicated furniture/home stores. It looks and feels like it’s coming from a cool Danish interior design bureau, no less, but it costs the fraction of what it looks like it should cost.I’m also blown away how thoughtful the manufacturer was about the consumer. They really invested their talent and time to make the assembly as easy and stress-free as possible. Like they literally were picturing me at 3 in the morning after the exhausting move, wanting to just get to bed asap (true story). It took me maybe half an hour if not less to assemble the bed from opening the box to putting the mattress on it. Ikea is not even close. The assembly literally takes 8 steps. They only use 1 (ONE!!) type of screws, most of which are already pre-screwed. To make life even easier, they put a small ratchet screw driver in the box, so tightening the bolts is a breeze!And the fun friendly language they use on the boxes and all the documentation is another little nice touch making it seem like they thought of you while designing this bed.I rarely write reviews, but I just couldn’t not to in this case. Businesses like this one must thrive and prosper. Hopefully they will read this review, so they know what a great job they’ve done and how appreciated their hard work is! 10/10 highly recommended!!

man do I really like this thing ..
ok this review is based on looks and ease of assembly as we have only just got it can’t say much about how long it will last but can tell you this is the second bed unit we have purchased form this manufacture and the other one has been in use for over a year .. and has held up well with no issues .. now to this one .. it comes in one box . if you try to lift it by yourself you will suffer greatly as it takes 2 men and a dog to move it around .. that being said you can simply open the very well double boxed box and take the bed frame out a little at a time … the entire bed unit is packed in the back of the head board .. simply unzip the fabric and there you are .. you can tell the other guy and dog to get lost cause even a 75 year old (me ) can get the thing up stairs by himself .. ok ok, my wife did help a little … Once you get the thing where you want it, its time to assemble all the parts .. start unpacking .. well, well, well they give you not only all the screws/bolts to put it together but they give you some extras and the tools to do it with including a ratchet …. you don’t even need to have any other tools .. once you get every thing laid out the rest is easy, just follow the nicely done instructions .. heck this company even includes some nice little cards that you can use to tell all your friends how much you like the thing … LOL .. I know this is a bit tongue and cheek but it really is a nicely packaged and nice piece of furniture. As I said before this is the second one we have purchased and its great .. also if like us, you have a second floor stair well that you cannot get a box spring up .. this is the way to go ..

Looks great!
I was redoing my guest room and looking for something that looked good, but relatively inexpensive. This bed is 5 stars on both counts and is even better than I had hoped.As others have stated, the box is heavy!! I tried moving it from my porch inside by myself (don’t do that, it is too heavy even if you can!). Guys were coming to have my carpets cleaned and they graciously moved it into the foyer for me, but if you don’t have help just open the box where they dropped it off and individually move the items.I was surprised how easy it was to put together and I’m not one who is inclined to put things together myself. I didn’t time it, but I’d guess 20-40 minutes total time.One thing to note is that when you connect the frame with the head and footboard the bolts you need are already in the head and footboard. Don’t open the side of the bolt package that reads “Spare Parts”! They’re extras, which unfortunately, I didn’t clue in to that fact even though it clearly states spare parts and I spent a good 3-4 minutes trying to figure out how to get the extra bolt in. 😂 All the tools you need to put it together are included.I’m storing plastic boxes under the bed. The sideboards are too low to slide them in, but I was easily able to lift the bed an inch or two and slide them in and they fit perfectly once they cleared the footboard.On the downside 3 of the 4 legs had minor blemishes, one was noticeably scratched, but I just screwed them in so they were hidden, not that anyone would notice anyway.It feels super sturdy. Overall I’m very pleased with this bed and will consider the brand when I’m ready to replace my own bed.

Great product but Amazon sends used instead of new
The product itself gets 5 stars, but experience of buying this product from Amazon gets 1 star.THE BAD : buying from Amazon———Generally I love buying from Amazon, but this was the biggest headache I’ve ever experienced with an online order from any retailer. The product was sold as new but showed up in a box that had clearly been opened before with old and frayed tape around the edges. The box still had the shipping label for the previous buyer on the outside. Inside, the product was clearly used and showed signs of wear. I repack everything, carry it back downstairs (it’s not light, you need two people) and Amazon coordinates for UPS to pick it up. I take a day off work to sit and wait for UPS. No one comes, but UPS tells Amazon they attempted a pick-up. I call Amazon, Amazon calls UPS, UPS calls me and they “come back” to try “again.” Frustrating and way too much work, but Amazon did correct the issue.The saga continues when the replacement bed arrives a day later. The box looked new but upon opening and unpacking the product, the replacement product had clearly been used before. The most glaring issue is that someone used a black Sharpie to mask damage to the wood stain on all four feet of the bed. Not a good look. In fact, the Sharpie looks worse than a scratch would have. Whether it was the previous owner or Quality Control it looked really bad.After two weeks of not having a bed and it appearing impossible to get a replacement that wasn’t used, I decided repacking the bed and dealing with carrying it down again, taking a day off again, etc just wasn’t worth it. Amazon ultimately provided an account credit but looking back it wasn’t enough to offset the headache of the first return and ending up with a used bedframe.THE GOOD: the product itself———Wow. I can’t say enough. I love this bedframe. It looks like it should cost twice as much. The pattern is unique and not cookie cutter. Sadly even with just a 10” mattress, pillows will likely cover most of the design on the headboard. But the fabric still looks modern and sleek.Zinus does an amazing job making you feel special about your budget bedframe purchase. The box alone is surprisingly well designed for a bedframe. I caught several neighbors in my building ogling it, while they picked up their very sad looking bedframe boxes. Inside there’s a thoughtful and sincere welcome note from Zinus along with cute notecards to send positive vibes to friends and family. (Not necessary or related to the product but a really nice sentiment.)As others have mentioned, everything comes neatly organized inside the headboard. While lifting the box required two people, I had no problems assembling a king size of this product by myself. The instructions are pretty clear too.Lastly, it looks amazing. If you’ve been searching and searching and this caught your eye, it’s worth a shot. Maybe you’ll get a new one!

Great quality, looks great!
Like the title says, this bed frame is sturdy and looks great. I love the geometric design of the headboard.Assembly was fairly easy, but I did run into a slight problem with the final edge of the bed. I had to untighten some screws and really force a couple pieces together before tightening again. In the end, it all worked out, but I’m not sure if I did something wrong along the way to cause that to happen.Something to keep in mind (and this might be my own stupidity) is that almost all screws are already situated in their respective holes. It’s kind of strange because this bedframe comes with a package of screws, divided up by size/type. All of these are single spares, except for one compartment, which holds the screws used for the first few steps. After completing those steps and realizing that the remaining screws in that package were all spares, I went hunting for screws, first thinking that I must have not seen them, then thinking that I might have dropped them somewhere, and finally thinking that they never arrived in the package. It was only just before I was about to open a ticket with Amazon that I decided to search the listing to see if anyone else complained about missing screws. Sure enough, others pointed out that the remaining screws are all situated in their respective holes.

Updated assembly! Compared to a different Zinus frame we have
We decided we needed a new frame when we got a new mattress and still weren’t comfortable. Previously we had the faux leather Zinus frame. The way the wooden slats were bowed towards the ceiling made it feel like you were going to roll off the side of the bed. In that particular design you had to put each piece of wood in separately as well as the little plastic pieces that hold each of of each slats Talk about a pain! (I tried to look it up but I think they changed the assembly design to be similar to this one)Now let’s talk about this amazing bed frame! The color and design I just LOVE, it’s exactly as the pictures show. I love the tall headboard. And this thing is STURDY.It took maybe 30 minutes to put together, the longest was taking it out of the packaging. The ratchet made assembly a breeze! The fact that all the wooden slats are already together and they just Velcro into place? Genius! I also love that all but 5-6 screws are already in place, all you have to do is loosen them so the metal tabs can slide over the top. Then tighten and you have your new frame!Once we buy a house again I will absolutely be buying another of these. The look is great, super easy assembly and very sturdy. 10/10 recommend.

Pleasantly Surprised!
Couldn’t be happier with this bed, especially for the price. Well built, easy to put together, and I love the included ratchet. This shouldn’t take you longer than 30 minutes to put together once you have all the pieces out. The instructions aren’t even necessary.The headboard is a good height as well which I know was a big concern for me. I have an 8-inch mattress and from the top of the mattress to the top of the headboard is about 21.5 inches. Plenty of height for me to lean against when reading (I’m 5’8″).I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap, but above average quality bed.

Quiet, portable, and still sturdy after multiple assemblies
Got this frame because I wanted something quiet. My spouse and I work around the clock from each other, so one of us getting into bed for the night or getting out of bed to start a day was killing us both on the sleep front on our old frame. This thing is absolutely silent, and we’ve more than put it through its paces.It was easy to assemble and, when we later moved, easy to pack back down into the headboard. I was worried it wouldn’t be as sturdy when we set it back up, but if there is any difference it’s not something noticeable by me.This frame is a strong bargain for its price.

Attention to detail and very high value for the money
I usually don’t write reviews often, but this item is worth a review. The quality of the materials and craftsmanship are average to above-average. To be honest, I expected the craftsmanship to not be this good given the very low price point, so I was pleasantly surprised. It is very high value for the money.What really impressed me, though, was the attention to detail throughout the entire package.First, it came double-boxed in very sturdy boxes and with plenty of styrofoam to protect the items.Second, it came with very clear, well-written instructions.Third, it included a ratcheting allen wrench in addition to the regular allen wrench. I have bought lots of self-assembly furniture pieces over the past 30 years, and I have never seen one include a ratcheting allen wrench to make the work go faster. The ratcheting wrench is also of good quality. Even though I have a full set of tools, I kept the ratcheting wrench so I could use it on other projects. I only wish you could swap out different size bits.Fourth, they even included some nice greeting cards for you to send a kind note to someone.I had never heard of this brand before, but I will be buying their products in the future. That kind of attention to detail is hard to come by these days, especially with a good quality product at such a low price point. It’s something you would expect at a much higher price point. Very impressed that this company puts so much thought and money into their products; that’s what builds brand loyalty.

Very sturdy, thoughtful packaging.
This bed is amazing quality. I couldn’t stopping saying that I was shocked during the assembly process. It came packaged in a very smart, thoughtful way. It is extremely sturdy and solid and we will be purchasing another bed from this company soon. My husband didn’t have any complaints about the assembly. We purchased a platform bed for my oldest son from a different company/store and was so disappointed in the quality and function of it, so we were apprehensive about this purchase from Zinus. I’m so glad we took a chance, it is fantastic!! It has no storage per se, it is a platform bed but I suppose if you have very shallow bins it might be ok, but we knew that going in, so it’s not a con to us. I’m going to give it 5 stars for storage because the back of headboard has a zipper around entire back space that a person could “hide” or store small things inside which I think makes up for the lack of space under the bed. This area within the headboard is how all the pieces come packaged before assembly and it still can serve a purpose, which I find very cool. I can’t imagine anyone who would be disappointed in this bed at all!

This is a great bed frame.
It is good quality and very sturdy, no squeaking or creaking when you get in and out of it. Our Nod by Tuft & Needle mattress fits perfectly on it and I love that the headboard doesn’t have a gap. It is the easiest piece of furniture I have ever put together and it should be easy to disassemble it if needed for moving. I see this bed frame lasting us for a long time.The only downside for me is a minor one. The under the bed storage containers fit under it fine, but you have to lift the bed up a little to get them underneath. If there was just another 1 1/2” of height between the floor and bottom of the frame, it would be perfect. I will just have to make sure I only store seasonal/infrequently used items underneath.And just a piece of advice, if you plan to lean against the headboard often, make sure you can either have it sitting against your wall or get headboard stoppers so that you don’t stress out the areas where the headboard is connected to the rest of the frame over time. It truly is sturdy, but you’ll maintain the longevity of it better with this support.

Impressively designed product, very strait-forward assembly.
I’m pretty impressed with this product over all, it does the job of holding a mattress perfectly well, it’s pretty solid, and it looks pretty nice. It isn’t mind blowing high quality, but it is pretty much everything I expected from a $250 piece of furniture.Here is what to expect when you purchase this product (and if you like the way it looks, I say go for it):It comes in a enormous box (which UPS decided to leave in my back yard next to my trash cans). Inside, the headboard is wrapped in a big plastic bag. All of the parts, including the directions and hardware, are packed inside the headboard in the zipper compartment. If you don’t have a very big space to work in, I recommend doing what I did – cut open the box outside, (it’s actually double-boxed) taking care not to cut too deeply, and remove the headboard. Carry that inside to wherever you are going to set it up. Leave the box outside, it’s huge and serves no purpose going forward.Warning: it’s very heavy. This is a two person lift for sure, though if you had to you could remove the parts from inside and carry them in multiple trips (the empty headboard is bulky but not too heavy).Make sure you have a large enough space to assemble before you start unpacking, you will need to stack the parts out of the way so you can position the frame.Assembly is really strait forward, there is a small hardware kit with five screws, a set of spare parts, a hex wrench, and a hex ratchet (which is a life saver, tightening screws with a ratchet is so very much easier than a normal hex wrench). There is a single (two sided) large page of instructions. There isn’t much text, but you don’t really need it, the pictures are all you need. All the other screws needed are already threaded into holes on all the parts – you never need to remove those screws either, just loosen them so that the parts slide together, then tighten them down. The five screws in the part kit are for the frame.You will find two large metal pieces, they are the two parts of the frame. They come folded up, all you have to do is unfold them and their legs, and place the shorter one across the center of the longer one (there is a slot for this) creating an elongated plus sign shape. The longer part of the frame runs along the center of the bed length-wise. The five screws are inserted into holes on the top of the frame above the legs, one screw on each arm of the frame, and one in the center where they cross. Those screws main purpose is to prevent the frame from folding. The frame pieces themselves are very solid, and don’t require any additional assembly.There is a box containing the for wooden legs, they have screws sticking out the top that thread into the bottom of the baseboard and headboard. Once those are attached, you need to loosen all the screws all all the remaining parts – the headboard, foot board, and four side panels. Back them out a quarter to half an inch. Then you position the head and foot boards, and slide the ends of the long portion of frame over the screws in the middle of those parts. At this point you can tighten those screws a bit, not actually tight, but enough to keep anything from shifting around. Then you slide all the side pieces on and finally tighten everything down. This is where that ratchet comes into play, it makes getting everything snug so much easier than it would be without it.The cross slats are all attached together in rolls, you just stick the first one to the Velcro, and pull each one tight and the Velcro strips space them perfectly.Toss your mattress on top, and you’re done. I should note that the edges of the bed don’t extend up past the slats, so the mattress isn’t down in the box at all. I kinda prefer beds where it is, so it’s prevented from sliding, but it isn’t a big deal.Everything feels nice and solid, no creaking or wobbling or anything. I’m pretty happy so far, the only real gripes are that the padding on the headboard isn’t especially thick – but it’s enough to be more comfortable than wood, or a wall – and the fabric isn’t especially soft. I’m also not a fan of the brown stained wood legs, I would have preferred them be painted black I think it would have fit better.Bottom line, I like it. If you’re looking for a platform bed in this price range and like the look of this one, I recommend it.Edit: 4 Years laterI still really like it. It’s solid, I haven’t ever needed to tighten anything, and there are still no creaking noises or anything. In the time I’ve had it, I switched from a traditional spring mattress to a foam one – no problem, this frame supports it just great.My only complaint at all, is that the mattress can slide a little if you move a lot in your sleep. It’s not a big problem, we’re talking an inch or so in a week, and you can shift it back no problem. But if the sides just extended up an inch past the slats to prevent the mattress from being able to move at all, it would be the perfect bed.

Good quality frame at a good price
I was super skeptical of these fabric bed frames due to some of the reviews, especially those who have experienced bed bugs. This bed frame caught my attention and stood out more than others, so i decided to pull the trigger and just buy it, and so far, I’m really happy i did.I’ve had it a little over 2 months now and I’m really pleased with it. It was easy to assemble and it came with a ratcheting Allen key to assist with the process. Took about 1 hour to assemble and that was by myself, i imagine you could get it done faster with more people. After sleeping on it for a few days, it didn’t make any noise and it held strong, there was no wobble or play between any of the parts.Best of all, NO BED BUGS! (I was still on the side of caution and opened the package in my garage just in case. I’d recommend you do the same as you mileage may vary.)For the money, this bedframe offers pretty good quality and looks, and I’d say if you’re thinking about buying it, it’s a really good option.

# Helpful info:I was looking for this measurement before I bought, but I couldn’t find it. The gap between the bottom of the bed and the floor is just over 6 inches (~15.5cm). Not a whole lot of space for storage. Also, be sure to get everything in place before you tighten the screws. This will prevent you from locking the parts in at a bad angle.Also a note to the sellers: the instructions in the manual should read “slightly loose[n] all bolts before assembly” and “fully tighten after placing all side rails”. Other than that and the “made in China” labels, you would be hard pressed to tell that this isn’t a product from a primarily English-speaking country, unlike many of the other products I’ve bought on Amazon. It also comes with some sappy feel-good notes, which I love, but I’m also the sort of person that likes saying hi to the greeters at supermarkets, so that might just be me.One last thing, the box is very heavy, so definitely get someone to help you with it.# The actual review:It looks and works as advertised, which is great. And it feels very sturdy — no wobbling. But I was also amazed at how conveniently it was packaged, and how easy it was to put together. Other reviewers have mentioned this, but I’ll say it again. Everything fits in the back of the headboard, which is secured with a zipper. There are 6 major parts (headboard, footboard, 2 boards on each side) and they are all held together with bolts that use a single hex/allen wrench size, which is included. They also include a couple extra screws, just in case you lose a one (which is hard, those bolts are hefty). I expect this will be easy to disassemble the next time I move, which is something I really appreciate because moving is awful.I had an old, EXTREMELY loud box spring before this, and I really underestimated how much nicer it would be to be able to get into bed without raising a racket. My roommate and downstairs neighbors probably appreciate it too.

sleek, sturdy, and so easy to put together!
I have been looking for a new king bed frame. My old one had the worst metal slats that were too far apart. Bed would sink and cause crazy back pain during the day. That being said, I’m so happy with this new Zinus Judy bed. It looks amazing, fits a king mattress perfectly, and the setup was surprisingly easy.I built it solo in around 30 min. Setup was easy, no parts are too heavy to move alone. Really impressed with the ease of setup. They provided the Alan wrench as well as adjustable wrench that made setup a breeze.I love that the bed frame fits in the headboard. Packaging and unboxing felt premium. The siding has a nice soft feel. And the headboard looks killer. Love the abstract look. Feels more than unique enough.I ended up saving a little bit of money purchasing it used (like new) and saved over $175 on it. Packaging was great and would definitely recommend used if looking to save. Great buy.

Loved that the entire bed came in an easy to handle box. The entire bed frame was ingeniously packed INSIDE the headboard, which is why I give a 4-star rating for sturdiness. The frame itself is tight and easy to assemble; very well thought-out design.Fabric is well wrapped but held with only standard staples. Quality and value
Well, didn’t realize when I ordered that I have 2 more in my other bedrooms. So have had the other 2 over 6 years and no issues with fabric, durability or sturdy construction. Anyone can put this together, if you can read you can do this by yourself. It took me 50 min start to finish and I’m 69 years old. Very heavy, so had them place it in my garage and opened the box and carried in each piece separately.Think you will be very satisfied with the easy of assembly and the appearance of the frame and headboard. I ordered Dark gray.

A great bed, awesome engineering
This bed is a fantastic value and a true feat of engineering. Upon delivery you have a box the size of the headboard and its a lot of metal inside, it’s heavy so beware. Once you open the box, you find they have neatly been able to put every component inside the headboard itself and have a zipper closure. This will be a fantastic bonus if you move, it’s always a pain to keep everything together and organized. The headboard looks as good in person as the stock photos, nice deep gray fabric with a little padding.Now onto the good stuff, you get an all metal frame with supports in all the right places and STURDY wooden slats which have a velcro system to hold them perfectly in place. Unlike some cheap furniture, there is a metal support bar down the middle, so sagging is no worry even with a foam mattress right on the slats.Assembly is super fast and easy due to the fantastic little ratchet included in the box, it goes in both directions at the swith of a lever, making it perhaps the easiest bed assembly I have ever done. The slats fit in the frame perfectly and velcro right in place, they only cover half the frame per set so you don’t have to wrestle with 7 feet of flopping boards on a string like most makers. This bed is in our guest room, but I will be buying another bed from Zinus for our kid’s room and when we replace our bedroom set, I will be looking to them over places like Ashley Furniture, the build quality is far superior and a fraction of the cost. I am very impressed with the value you get here, it’s truly an exceptional product, I would have expected to pay considerably more for something of this fit and finish. We had two adults sleeping on the bed the very first night we had it, very solid, no creeks or squeaks and most importantly no sinking of the memory foam mattress so you do not need the box spring at all.

Your average bed frame that does it’s job.
Your average bed frame that does it’s job.The assembly was easy to follow, it’s just that some of the screws were hard to screw take out and screw on so beware of that, you may need some patience since it’s pretty tedious work. Overall assembly took me an hour.Good color the material seems average and look wise is alright.In terms of sturdiness it does move pretty easily, doesn’t take much force at all to move it around, so if you move around on your bed it may or may not move depending on how big you are.With that said, I’m going to rate it a 5 because it’s what I was looking for at this price range. Not high end, but very good quality. I would say buy it if you are looking for using it for 2-3 years.
