Excellent Burt’s Bees Mini Kit Should Be Shipped in Damage Proof Packaging
The Burt’s Bees products are all excellent. I like the products so much that I was purchasing the “Mini Kit” to add to a gift bag to accompany other Burt’s Bees products to give to a friend as a thank you gift. Unfortunately. the “Mini Kit” arrived in very shabby condition. The box was crushed in several places and part of the top was torn. I am extremely disappointed after spending $20 for the small box of products and even if I returned it, it is out of stock until February 7th. I believe the box would have arrived in perfect condition if it had been shipped with more substantial bubble lining or a sturdy mailing box.

Don’t buy!!!

The perfect “sampler” of products.
This kit is nicely made and really is a perfect sampler of products– not only for someone who is interested to try out various options from Bert’s but also for the gift giver. I was specifically surprised by the results of the foot cream, and thought it was the most “unique” product compared to other foot moisturizing creams– it was almost like a taffy glaze in cream form, or like pureed unrefined honey.Definitely worth a try and interesting products. The only thing I didn’t love is that several of them tended to have a very similar mint-ish scent. The scent was fine but I was hoping for more variety on that front. If those products all have the same scent, understood. Still an enjoyable journey through these products. Don’t forget to try the lip balm, which is not in this kit!

the minis in this are a good size for travel or as a sampler set to see if you want to commit to a full size product. burt’s bees products are generally ok imo, but i’ve never been a huge fan because i’ve tried other similar products by other brands that i found better and i find some of the scents in their products off putting. this set is the same for me and while i’ll use it all, i probably wouldn’t get this again. aside from my personal preferences, if you’re a big burt’s bees fan, you’ll probably like it. this set would make a nice addition to a small gift or to use as a stocking stuffer. i think it would appeal to teens and young adults too. if you’re a big burt’s bees fan, everything in the set is a good purse size if you need smaller versions of your fav burt’s bees stuff.

Good set if you use everything in it
A very complete travel set, but pricey if you don’t use everything. I’ve never liked the beeswax lip balm; I find it drying, not moisturizing. And I do like the coconut foot cream, although it’s greasy and I can only use it when it’s cold enough to cover my feet with socks. The tinned salves are heavy in texture, so that bothered me. All in all, I wouldn’t use this set, but it would make a great gift for someone you know who likes Burt’s Bees products.

Good Variety
If you are new to Burt’s Bee’s I think the packs like this are the perfect way to try their line. Each one is a very good size, the balms will last for a long time. I like this size for my purse because it takes up very little room. My favorite item is the cuticle salve.I did notice the lip balm seems to have changed formulas. It’s now much harder than it used to be and feels a bit waxy compared to their older balms which were softer and more hydrating.

Burts Bees Mini Gift Box
The only complaint I can think of for this gift box is the sizes aren’t large full-size products. That’s disappointing only because the product is such a sought after – high-quality product. Everything this company makes is a success. I love everything about this gift box. It’s full of a wide array of items Burts Bees offers. When you see Burts Bees, you know you’re getting a quality product. I feel for the quality and wide range of items offered in this box, the price is good. You can feel confident giving this as a gift or keeping it for yourself. It’s the ultimate in pampering. The items that are scented are only subtly scented and not at all overpowering. I remember when Burts Bees first became a fan favorite. I can actually remembering asking my Grandma to get me a tin of it, and when she did it made all my friends try it 😂 I’m glad Burt’s Bees is still going strong and I love this set. Trial sized AND travel friendly
If you’ve never tried Burt’s Bees products before this kit is ideal to start with. Their lip balm is absolutely heavenly and I catch myself using it multiple times daily. The ingredients are derived from honey so everything is ultra moisturizing and hydrating. I’m still not sure what the res-q ointment is for but I’ve used it on bug bites or itchy parts of my arms and it’s helped cool it down immensely. A few of the products are heavily scented with lavender which I personally love but just something to keep in mind.

Tubes are not full.
I’m disappointed that the foot cream and cleanser tubes are only filled about halfway. I was going to give these as stocking stuffers, but feel like the recipient would think I gave them a defective product.If the ounce measurement is correct, they should reduce the size of the container to be more eco-friendly.

I’ve been using Burt’s Bees for many many years. I love the high quality and consistency – their products are always excellent. I personally love the natural scent. The milk&honey body lotion is not as strong as beeswax lipstick. It’s not too oily or thick, and keeps my skin moisturized.

Tubes are not filled all the way
This is a good sample pack to try their foot cream, cleansing cream and body lotion. You get a full size of their lip balm, hand salve and res-Q ointment. I find it odd that not all the bottles had instructions in English, 2 of them were in a different language. Also the bottles are not full filled. I shook the lotion tube and you can tell there’s a good amount of air in there. All products came temper-sealed though. The lip balm is moisturizing and light, and leaves a nice coat in my lips. The body cream is thick, but absorbs quickly into the skin. The res-Q balm I used to help with the irritation behind my ear. The scent is very strong tho(to the point that it was annoying) but a little amount goes a long way. The hand salve helps moisturize my cuticles and dry spots on my knuckles.Overall, wouldn’t recommend getting this from Amazon. Get it from a trusted website or drug store. I love burt’s bees!

Teeny tiny bottles that are only 1/2 full. The hand salve wasn’t sealed. I bought this as a little Mother’s Day gift for my friend. It would be really embarrassing to give her. Definitely returning.

Inexpensive Way To Sample BB’s Classic Products; Hits and Misses
For ~$20 as of this writing, this Burt’s Bee’s Timeless Minis Kit is a wonderfully inexpensive way to sample the brand’s cult favorites.In it, you get six items: lip balm, hand salve (.30oz tin), res-q ointment .60oz tin), foot cream (0.7oz), body lotion (1oz), and cleansing cream (.7oz). Everything in the kit is travel or sample-sized and, aside from the lip balm, packaged in either polyplastic tubes, mini metal tins.I’ve used a couple of items in this set before ordering it. So I knew what to expect from the brand. Everything is bee or honey-themed, of course.The lip balm is a beeswax-based stick enhanced with vitamin E and a little zip from peppermint oil (which you can smell and feel). Gentle, no SPF, hydrating. Basic.The hand salve and Res-Q ointment are excellent at sealing in hydration on otherwise chapped skin. I would not use either on my face or lips. Only my hands, elbows, knees, and the like. They’re both rich in beeswax, various oils (olive, sunflower seed), and plant extracts (rosemary, thyme, lavender). I have several larger tins of the hand salve around the house as it is excellent to use in the winter months. The Res-Q has a darker green hue, whereas the standard hand balm is a very pale yellow. Its medicinal herby scent is also more intense than the salve. To use (either), I take the back of a clean thumbnail and lightly scratch along the edge, gathering a small amount of product. Next, I warm the salve/balm between my hands, letting it melt, and apply it to the desired area. These both will leave your hands a hint greasy for a minute or two until it absorbs. Both perform about the same to me. Not much of a difference between them texture-wise, ingredient-wise. While conveniently small tins, these do not screw on. I wouldn’t put these in, say, a pocket on a warm day as they will go from a creamy balm to a liquid and seep everywhere.The Coconut Foot Cream is a semi-thick brown, fragrant gel. Very sticky but hydrating. Best to apply after a shower/bath and put on socks.The Body Lotion is slightly off-white, creamy, very fragrant (added and high on the ingredient list). Not unpleasant; honey milk themed, but intense. The cream feels heavy on my skin. I don’t particularly like it, primarily because of the smell and feel.The Deep Cleansing Cream goes from a lotion-like cream to a very mild foam. I don’t like the “soap bar & chamomile” themed scent. It gets more intense when you add water to it, coming off smelling more of a chemical household cleanser.Out of everything, I most like the BB lip balm, salve, ointment, and foot cream. However, the body lotion and cleansing cream are far too heavily fragranced, and I don’t particularly like the use of either. But with these kinds of multi kits, you are going to have hits and misses. Again, this is an inexpensive way to discern what may or may not suit your needs.

Great Sampler Set Or A Short Weekend Pack
Burt’s Bees’ is one of those companies that constantly remind me of how much I love those little bees. They provide us with so much goodness. Therefore, because Burt’s Bees’ uses some of that goodness obtained from bees, they too provide us with goodness. This is a great little set to try out several of their products to find out what they are like and whether we want to invest in a larger size of either individual item for our personal skincare needs.For the most part, I really like most of these products. They all work wonders on my skin and make it feel moisturized without the sloppy mess that some products will leave. They all smell good with only a very light natural scent and make my skin feel soft and smooth.The only product that I think needs some work is their lip balm. It’s rather thick. So thick that it just doesn’t reach down into the pores to nourish and sooth in the way that a good lip balm needs to do. Because of that, what I end up doing is first applying a thin oily lip balm. I’ll give that a few moments to sink in and then I’ll apply the Burt’s Bees’ lip balm as a sealant over top. That actually works great. I just don’t like the lip balm by itself.Because some of the tubes are somewhat small, as far as travel is concerned, I’d only use this for short weekend jaunts. Mostly because of the tubed items. If you think you’ll get away with this for a full week, most likely you’ll be out in search of a store that sells something that will get you through the rest of your week. The tins and the lip balm will be fine, it’s just the tubed items that will be used up fast due to their size.This is a great little sample set to try for yourself or to give as a gift.

It’s one of those brands that has really never let us down. This kit is nice because you get to try a number of their products without investing in a full size of each one. That being said after trying some of the products we hadn’t already used we really weren’t swayed into wanting to order any of them with the exception of the res-q ointment. That one was awesome.The products in this kit we did love and have tried before were the lip balm, body lotion, and the hand salve. The foot cream isn’t something we liked all that much. It really just reminded us of a thicker version of their body lotion but just nothing we really would buy. The deep cleaning cream we liked but again we like their regular body lotion the most of the Burts Bees lotions.The lip balm is probably what most people are most familiar with of their products. We love the lip balm from them and always have it in the house. The hand salve I had tried before but my Roomate hadn’t, she’s a huge fan after trying it now. The one that we all really liked and will be buying is the res-q cream. The cream has a nice scent (hints of lavender) to it and it’s similar to the hand salve in texture. I like how they use the little tins for the those two products. Their tiny enough to slip into your pocket but also very durable and it’s just convenient.I will also say this kit works as a nice little gift too. The price point is reasonable for this brand too.All in all I liked this listing. We enjoy this brand and it was nice to try a couple products we hadn’t already. If you are curious about any of these products I’d suggest getting this mini variety box. It’s a good listing.

Head to Toe Kit in a Cardboard Box Rather than Zippered Bag
I remember Burt’s Bees packaging was nicer in years past – sets like these (“Hand to Toe”) used to come almost exclusively in translucent plastic zippered travel bags that you could re-use. This set of travel sized Burt’s Bees items comes in a rather thin and flimsy box – considering you are paying $20 maybe the plastic was phased out due to environmental concerns.At any rate, these are the same samples of Burt’s Bees products I know and love. I didn’t detect any change in the formula. It includes items I often use, those I use now and then, and those who are suitable only for a small demographic.The hand salve seems made for older people or people who work with their hands a lot in the open field – very moisturizing but I rarely use it. The foot cream is pretty good if a little greasy. The cleansing cream will be well-used and the body lotion is great. I also love the lip balm, which moisturizes my dry lips well.Overall a good set though I miss the old style packaging.

A nice introductory to Burt’s Bees
Pretty good stuff. I swear by burts bees, I have not found a product of theirs that i do not love. There are certain of their sample products that are a bit less practical/useful, such as foot lotion. Like you might as well just use regular lotion. I love that these products have all natural ingredients. I wouldn’t use any other skincare but Burts Bees! It is very affordable. You can buy it in Walgreens and even Walmart. The hand salve smells really good and has been amazing for my dry hands. The brand itself is really great, good quality for a good price. It’s moisturizing and long lasting. This set is also one of my go tos for gift giving. The scents are not strong either which is a bonus for me.

Classic, Awesome Collection!
I placed a quarter in the foreground of the picture so that you could see how small this collection is: as you can see, these are the perfect size for an overnight bag, a carry-on, etc. Love it!And, everything here is basically a classic (I grew up with many of these!). So, the lip balm is probably the most recognized of the group: it is so soothing and feels fantastic on your lips. Nothing beats it! The hand salve is similar: the smallest bit goes very, very far. It too is incredibly soothing! The foot cream is perfect for applying before bed. I really massage this in and then layer on a pair of thick, ankle length (breathable) athletic socks. In the morning, my feet are so soft and so hydrated! Love it! The body lotion is perfect for directly after a shower. I shower at night, apply this (generously) and then layer-on thermals to protect my linens. In the morning, my skin looks fantastic.I think this is a great collection if you are a Burt’s Bees super-fan and take them with you everywhere. Likewise, I think this is equally as awesome if you want to try this collection for the time. Basically, anyone can enjoy every item in this collection! Very cool!
